30,750 Individuals increased their income as a result of participation in one of 546 groups (VSLAs) where $608,006 USD in Assets and savings was realized
11,678 Community Leaders have been trained and as a result prepared and implemented DRR plans in the 3 Area programs
221,004 Individuals both direct and indirect benefited from Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Interventions these included Hygiene and sannitation messages and access to water was brought nearer by rehabilitating of 12 boreholes and drilling of 04 new boreholes

44,368 Children and caregivers benefited from Education programs these included training in digital access for school going children and out of school youth in Amudat and Namutumba, sanitary ware, development and participation in school clubs and value of education

66,777 farmers benefited from the poultry, livestock, trained in sustainable climate smart agriculture using agro-ecology practices, cash grant of $16,925 USD
68 Schools supported with integrated intervention including sponsorship, and FSL work through this approaches the caregivers of children were also involved in farmer groups and VSLAs
27 Health Facilities supported to reach out to people we serve through these health facilities over 24,100 Children under the age of two (CU2) and Pregnant and lactating women (PLWs) were screened for malnutrition
Over 160.914 Metric tonnage of food distributed to over 49,903 people we serve in emergency response in the area programs of Lamwo, Bukiende and Amudat
2 cooperatives have been formed reaching out to 1,025 VSLA members of the people we serve
FHA-Uganda distributed over 2 Million doses of Dewormers covering 22.1% of the target children (11.3 million) for the ICHD. This supported the country’s children’s needs to address the micro nutrient deficiency
Food for the Hungry Association Uganda serves the communities of (Adjumani, Amudat, Bukiende, Lamwo, Kitgum, Kween and Namutumba) through integrated community development approaches that are geared towards to new program model of Resilience and Flourishing through Transformantion (RFST). Of these, 02 APs (Adjumani and Lamwo) are both humanitarian and development contexts. The intervention sectors include Health and Nutrition, Livelihoods & Resilience, WASH (Water Sanitation and Hygiene), Education and child engagement programs plays a crucial role as enablers in achieving the interventional outcomes in the communities we serve, Disaster risk reductions (DRR) and Emergency Relief Response programs that addresses emergency dissaster for food assistance to the affected people we serve.
